How do I display round list elements on object?

This article explains how to create a selection that displays round list elements related to the object currently being viewed.

This setup can be used when users want easy access to round list elements associated with an object without opening the round list separately. 

⚠️ Warning
Only a limited set of information can be displayed using selections on cards. Some round list data may not be available in this view

 Create the Selection

  1. Create a new selection based on:
    • Jobs → List of Round List Points
  2. Add the following output column:
    • Underlying Object
    • Status
  3. Go the Advanced tab.
  4. In the Record Linking Field, select: Sub object
    Make sure Include Underlying Records is not selected!
  5. Go the Grouping tab.
  6. At "Grouping and Sorting settings", at Default grouping set "Status" as 1st column.
    Also check the box for "Lock user to default grouping".
  7. Save and close the selection.

 Add the Selection to the Object Card

  1. Go to System Settings → Card Definitions → Selections on Cards.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter the name that should be displayed on the tab.
  4. Select the selection created in the previous section.
  5. Select the card types:
    • Object
    • Main Object
  6. Save and close the configuration.

 Verify the Result

  1. Open an object card.
  2. Select the tab that was created.
  3. The view should display the round list points associated with that object.
