How do I create a chart?

Charts can be created based on any selection to display various data sets.

1. Navigate to the selection from which you want to use the data.
2. Click "New chart..."
3. Give the chart a name.
4. Provide a description of the chart.
5. Ensure the correct selection is chosen in the "Data source" field.
6. If necessary, adjust the grouping column in the "Group by" field.

Pie Chart

7. Choose the specific column that contains the values you wish to retrieve for your chart.
8. Choose how you want to summarize the data in the "Function" field.
9. To show only the top 5 values, check the box for "Put small values into one slice."

Bar chart or line chart

10. Select the option "Bar chart or line chart."
11. If you wish to include multiple data sources in a single chart, simply click the "Add" button to incorporate them.
12. Go to the "Sorting" tab.

13. Check or uncheck the box "Sort by first data series" as needed.
