Step 1. Check that your version of Nxperience is 2.4.0.01 or newer as the new settings are not available on older versions.
Step 2. If not version 2.4.0.01 or newer please download the newest version of the software from Software - Downloads - NOVUS Automation
When you are in the "INSTALLATION MODE", it is important that you choose "NXPERIENCE" > Next > Next > Then in "CHOOSE COMPONENTS" > Choose "DIGIRAIL OEE".
Step 3. Download the newest version of the Firmware in Digirail-OEE FirmWare. ETH is for Ethernet and WRL is for Wireless connected device.
Step 4: Open Nxperience while connected to the DigiRail Box and navigate to the screen where you normally save the configuration to the device. Save first the current device setting to your laptop in case of any issues during the firmware update, Then Select Firmware update
Select Find and source the firmware file on your device then press Program
Step 5: This update may take a few minutes to complete. Once completed
If you can go into device configuration again there will be a new option on the below page
We also need to change any Digital inputs that are currently set as ‘Event’ to become ‘Status’. Existing counters should stay as counters.
Step 6: Send new configuration to device
